The Computer Engineering (CpE) Department at Pangasinan State University is dedicated to producing highly skilled and innovative engineers who specialize in computer systems, hardware design, and software integration. With a strong emphasis on research, hands-on learning, and cutting-edge technology, the department equips students with the expertise to develop intelligent systems, embedded technologies, and advanced computing solutions. PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Three (3) to five (5) years after graduation, graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Program should;

  1. Be globally competititve in the field of Computer Engineering.
  2. Be equipped with necessary and relevant technical competenceis that are contributory to national development
  3. Be able to demonstrate managerial and leadership roles in their organizations and multisectoral communities
  4. Be able to exhibit high levels of professionalism and ethical responsibility and work collaboratively
  5. Be a lifelong learner that are imbued with the Pangasinan State University Core Values

Program Outcomes (PO) of Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE)

Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering program should be able to;

  1. Solve complex engineering problems: by applying mathematics and Sciences
  2. Design and Conduct Experiment as well as analyze and interpret data
  3. Design a system, component or process to meet desired needs within realistic constrainst such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability, in accordance with standards
  4. Function on multi-disciplinary teams
  5. Identify, formulate and solve complex engineering problems
  6. Practice professional and ethical responsibility
  7. Communicate effectively with varied audience
  8. Innovate engineering solutions that will bring impact in a global, economic environmental and sociatal context
  9. Engage in lifelong learning and keep abreast with the developments in computer engineering
  10. Ascertain and appropriately act on contemporary issues related to the computer engineering discipline
  11. Use techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for Engineering practice
  12. Act as a team leader and member of computer engineering projects by employing thier management principles in a multidisciplinary environment
